20 Quesions Blog Post:

  1. We participated in seveal rounds of differnt catagories of the game 20 questions. We played 2 rounds of the disney catagrie, two rounds of the movie game and two rounds of the tv show game.
  2. 5 out of the 6 times the computer guessed correctly. The time it didnt was the tv show game and we had chosen the character from friends, Matt Leblank. After 28 questions it did not guess correctly, but the actors name was on the list of possibilites at the end. The smallest amount of questions it took to answer was 18 for the tv show and movie catagories.
  3. I was surpriesed at how smart the artificial intelligence of the computer was. I was impressed becvause when I was a kid I had the portable game that I would play on long carrides.

Native American Design #3

Navajo Rug Weaver

  • I practiced using the design tool, I became faster and more effictent at creating shapes and patterns on the graph. By design #3 I became comfortable with using the triangles and rectangles to speed up the process. In conclusion, I enjoyed the challenge.

Native American Design #2
Pacific Northwest Basket Weaver

 Reflection:
  • I used the rectangle to create the background color and approximite size. Then, I used the points to create individual shapes and patterns.
  •  It was difficult to make the tail because it was diagnonal, A lot of tiral and error was required to make it. It was also challenging bcecause this requires and patience and is a little tedious. Once you get into a rythem it gets easier!

Blog Post #2 - Current Event

In the article entitled, "NASA confirms evidence that liquid water flows on today's Mars," the technology, an MRO, a Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter recently provided the strongest evidence yet that liquid water flows intermittently on present-day Mars. According to the article, by using an imaging spectrometer on MRO, researchers detected signatures of  on slopes where mysterious streaks are seen on the Red Planet. These darkish streaks appear to flow over time while they darken and appear to flow down steep slopes during warm seasons, and then fade in cooler seasons. The potential for water on Mars is promising as they appear in several locations on Mars when temperatures are above minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit and disappear at colder times. The ability of MRO to observe for multiple Mars years why being able to see fine detail of these features has enabled findings such as these: first identifying the puzzling seasonal streaks and now making a big step towards explaining what they are.

I love to play sports, eat, read and travel. I am taking this class to further explore my knowledge of technology and computers. I hope to learn more about computers that will benefit me in the long run.

One surprising fact: I went to Paris when I was a Sophomore on a French exchange.
